OKU Launches Two New Summer Hotspots

From the Aegean to the Costa del Sol: OKU Bodrum opens May 1 & OKU Andalusia begins its first full season from April 17

OKU Andalusia
February 2026 – The award-winning lifestyle brand OKU Hotels ushers in summer 2026 with two new Mediterranean hotspots. With the opening of OKU Bodrum on May 1, the brand celebrates its debut in Turkey with an adults-only boutique hotel on the northern coast of the Bodrum peninsula. Meanwhile, OKU Andalusia enters its first full summer season from April 17 on the Costa del Sol.

Guests can look forward to the Alma Beach Club, a spacious adventure Kids Club, and culinary highlights at the Nikkei-inspired Teyo Restaurant. Together with its existing properties in Ibiza and Kos, OKU Hotels expands its boutique collection to four carefully curated destinations.

Opening: OKU Bodrum

An adults-only boutique retreat on the cliffs with direct sea access and panoramic Aegean views

Majestically located in the spectacular north of the Bodrum peninsula, OKU Bodrum opens as an exclusive adults-only retreat (16+) and promises tranquility, slow living, and a luxurious escape in one of Europe’s most sought-after destinations. Framed by Bodrum’s mountains on one side and the shimmering turquoise of the Aegean on the other, the boutique hotel offers breathtaking views from the very first moment.

With just 58 rooms and suites—many featuring swim-up access or private pools—the hotel embodies minimalist luxury paired with generous indoor-outdoor living. Natural materials, earthy tones, and clean lines define the design, while spacious terraces offer sweeping sea views. Sustainability and local influences run throughout, complemented by art installations curated by renowned Turkish curator Begüm Güney, adding a meditative cultural depth to the interiors.

From the hotel’s private jetty and boat dock, guests can explore tranquil lagoons, nearby islands, or the vibrant marinas of the region, home to world-famous restaurants and beach clubs.

Culinary highlights include three distinct venues: the Nikkei-inspired Teyo Restaurant, set in an open, airy space blending tropical and Japanese garden elements; the poolside restaurant To Kima, serving Mediterranean cuisine with a fusion twist; and the Round Bar on the jetty, offering creative cocktails and mezze with views across the bay.

The expansive OKU Spa features curated treatments and traditional rituals, a hammam, a sea-view gym, relaxation areas, and open-air treatment cabanas—a sanctuary designed to restore balance between body and mind.

OKU Andalusia Takes Off

Summer upgrade on the Costa del Sol with new beach club, first OKU Kids Club, Teyo dining & a 2,000 sqm spa

OKU Andalusia combines the brand’s signature laid-back bohemian style with minimalist elegance and Andalusian tradition. For its first full season, the hotel introduces the new Alma Beach Club as well as the first-ever OKU Kids Club for children up to 12 years old.

The Alma Beach Club—Spanish for “soul”—blends the spirit of Andalusia with modern influences, offering a relaxed yet refined beachfront dining experience overlooking the Mediterranean and stretching views all the way to Africa. Guests can indulge in dishes such as freshly grilled fish, crudo, caviar, as well as classics like Pimientos de Padrón and premium aged Galician beef. An adjacent adults-only pool provides a laid-back atmosphere with DJ sounds and light bites.

In the evening, the Teyo Restaurant, led by Executive Chef Mark Vaessen, takes center stage with Nikkei-inspired cuisine designed as a sensory journey. The poolside restaurant To Kima serves Mediterranean dishes throughout the day, while The Terrace offers breakfast, snacks, and Italian-inspired dinners. A new Bodega complements the culinary offering with Spanish and local wines, alongside deli-style specialties such as jamón, tortilla, and regional cheeses.

Wellbeing lies at the core of OKU’s philosophy. The 2,000 sqm OKU Spa features an indoor pool, expansive relaxation areas, a meditation courtyard, sauna, steam bath, vitality showers, an outdoor yoga shala, and a fully equipped fitness area—offering holistic regeneration. A sports club with tennis, padel, and other activities, as well as a wellness-focused pool menu, completes the experience.

With the introduction of the Kids Club, OKU Andalusia becomes the group’s first family-friendly property, seamlessly combining luxury experiences for couples, adults, and families alike. Designed as a true children’s paradise for ages 2 to 12, the Kids Club extends across the hotel’s outdoor areas, featuring adventure playgrounds with treehouses, water features, and more. Activities are tailored to different age groups, ranging from creative workshops to sports and outdoor adventures.

The 255 guest rooms reflect OKU’s relaxed spirit, from terraced suites with private pools to rooftop spaces with sea views, as well as a private four-bedroom beachfront villa. The surrounding region offers endless opportunities for exploration—from kite and windsurfing in Tarifa to stand-up paddling, boat trips to Tangier and hidden beaches, whale watching, world-class golf courses, hiking trails, and charming Andalusian villages.
